There are only two (2) types of people in the world: (1) the one being lied to; and (2) the one lying. Pessimistic as it may be but that is the truth. Either we are lying under our breath or we are being lied to without our knowledge. I mean, the latter clearly does not need consent nor does it need acknowledgement.
As unlikely as it may sound, the act of lying and being lied to definitely makes life more challenging.
Implications on the very act [of lying] has been considered a taboo and is nonetheless unworthy of commendation from any individual. Not to heighten the act itself but nobody, and I dare say, nobody is as pure as an immaculate in this time and age – with reference to lying that is. Let me make myself clear on this one, every one of us, kids and adults alike, have our secrets to keep.
A little white lie can go a long way. It may appear to be harmless but as you frequent the act, it becomes harmful and you are now creating your own little hideaway of lies. If that becomes the case then you become obsessed with your pseudo world than the world you are currently in. You become unfamiliar with who you really are, the people you are with and the world you are presently in.
They say the primordial reason why people lie is because they want to escape the real world, be the person they have always wanted to be and lead the life they have always yearned for. For some, lying or the act itself gives them a certain kind of thrill that adds spice to their already mundane life.
A mundane life is a life not worth living. It renders man idle and sluggish — a state that we all must avoid. Indeed, we crave for a life more than what we have [now] but that does not mean we have to alter and disrupt the way things are. We do not need to be a high profile individual or a royalty to live the life we have always wanted. Sometimes, we just need our imagination to work and most often than not, our imagination adds lying to its list of priorities.
Hypnosis is a method wherein communication is established between the conscious and subconscious part of the brain. It renders memories, secrets and once forgotten thoughts to be re-discovered or re-visited. Thus, igniting long forgotten emotions.
You might ask, what is the connection of lying and being lied to and hypnosis? Easy. Through hypnosis, an individual is able to express the inexpressible thus paving the way for truth to emerge. Digging deep into the subconscious allows an individual to re-discover well-kept secrets and determine how to make amends with two contradicting worlds: the real and make believe world
Establishing the connection between the two has always been in the spotlight. Thus, let hypnosis pave the way and open doors for a less deceptive life. Be the person that you really are and be true, not only to others, but more importantly, to yourself. Love the life that you have and make better by being less of a liar. Bear in mind that it is best to be lied to than to lie.
